Everything you need to know about a Wantage Air Conditioning install, before you even ask for a quote.
A proper installation is more than mounting a unit. Here's what's covered as standard.
We measure the room properly and size the system to it — not a guess from a photo.
Indoor and outdoor units supplied, mounted, and fully commissioned.
Wired and isolated by a Part P registered electrician, done in-house — not chased up separately.
A proper certificate for the electrical work, issued once the job is complete.
The system is run, checked and tuned before we call the job finished.
A proper run-through of your new system — how to use it, and what to expect.
Fitting an air conditioning unit means adding a new electrical circuit to your home, and by law that has to be signed off properly — it's called Part P. Because our electrician is registered to do this himself, it's signed off on the day, so you get a proper safety certificate with nothing extra to arrange. It also means the work is done right, and it won't cause problems if you ever come to sell your home.

Every job's electrical hook-up is signed off under Part P by our registered electrician — so you get a proper safety certificate, with nothing extra to arrange.
Most domestic wall-mounted installations don't need planning permission, but it can depend on your property — listed buildings and conservation areas sometimes have extra rules. We'll flag anything relevant during your survey.
A single-room system is typically a one-day job. Multi-room systems can take longer depending on the number of indoor units — we'll confirm timing at the quote stage.
Running costs depend on the system size, how it's used, and your local electricity tariff. We're happy to talk through realistic expectations during your survey — or try our running cost calculator for a rough figure now.
Manufacturer warranties apply to the equipment itself, and we'll register your system correctly so that warranty is valid from day one.
